8:51:20 PM > Detected GPU : AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series so probably it's not a bad idea making a safety choice (in DDU) if we want to delete even restore points like the Last Known Good Configuration on our own risk and maybe it's usefull for guys wanting to switch from AMD to Nvidia, or Nvidia to AMD cards like BenYeeHua said in his post.Īfter how much time the last known good configuration will be converted on the new driver ? If I know right, after the first reboot with the new driver if every thing went OK.right ? This happened to me with Ati man but can happen to others for a lot of reasons and I don't think everyone has a second hd with a shadow on.a safely solution must be found.

Use DDU that uninstalles everything and even Last Known Good Configuration (as I know, this is better and stronger than a normal restore point including more things) then you make an install and something goes wrong and this stucks you completely because you can't go back without Last Known Good Configuration and can't go foward with a new install and the only thing to do is to use a shadow image (not a normal restore point) of your system to restore. Wagnard, I know that it might be complicated but guys, imagine this scenario: Click to idea is to leave restore points like this one alone because dosen't influence the new driver and his install (it's only a restore point) but at this point.
